Great Yountville Wine Tasting Venue: Cosentino Winery

Another great tasting option we recommend while booking Yountville itineraries is Cosentino Winery (@cosentinowinery). They are one of the first guests who will see driving up Hwy 29 coming from Napa making their location second to none for the last minute or on the fly tastings. Their tasting room is often busy in the mornings when people drive into the valley or when passing by in the afternoon since it’s very easy in & out to finish off the day. Unlike most of the other wineries, Cosentino also stays open until 6pm making it perfect for locals to swing by after work and enjoy one of their flagship wines.

Their winery is located directly next door to one of our favorite Yountville restaurants @mustardsgrill and guests often head over for a quick tasting while they wait for a table. A small wooden bridge connects the two properties passing above a small creek which truly gives credence to the Yountville atmosphere of charm & romance. The winery itself is reflective of a Mediterranean exterior with ivy and tall cypress trees surrounding the area. Their tasting room offers both indoor or outdoor patio experiences with wines that can be paired with local chocolates or tapas available from their snack menu.

While tasting you must absolutely try their signature Cigar Zinfandel which is both deep & alluring with aromas of spice, peppercorn, and chocolate. No wonder it’s one of the most popular varietals on their menu!🍷🍫
